Holiday Pay
Qualified Staffing employees are eligible to be paid for any of the following holidays, if all qualifications are met:
- New Year’s Day
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Independence Day
- Christmas Day
To qualify for each paid holiday, the employee must have worked 960 hours during the 9 months preceding the holiday. The employee must also work the day before and the day after the holiday.
Vacation
All Giga-Net Staffing Solutions employees will receive two weeks vacation pay after completing nine months of employment with Giga-Net Staffing Solutions, providing you have worked at least 1200 hours during the 9 months following your assignment. Employees must be working for Giga-Net Staffing Solutions on an assignment in order to receive vacation pay.
In the second year of employment with Giga-Net Staffing Solutions, employees are eligible for three weeks paid vacation, providing you have worked at least 1500 hours during your second year of employment.
